Seafood Festival
All you can eat seafood. Music too. A big, popular gathering. Chincoteague Island, VA.

Ocean City Springfest
Celebrate the arrival of summer. 4 days of live entertainment, crafts, food and family fun. Daytime entertainment is free. South end of the boardwalk, Ocean City, MD.

May 6 - 8
Old Dover Days
Celebrating Dover's history as the Capitol of the First State. Maypole dancing, parade, food court, garden tour, music, walking tours, Colonial craft demonstrations, and the 19th century townball game. Most activities take place on the beautiful grounds of Dover's Capitol Complex and Legislative Mall. Dover, DE.

May 7 - 8
International Migratory Bird Celebration
11th Annual. This celebration of migratory birds includes a variety of family activities from building birdhouses to various workshops and guided walks provide an enjoyable time for birders of all ages. Held at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Chincoteague, VA.

May 14 - 15
Native American Festival and Pow Wow
Drums, music, crafts and food. 10 am to 5 pm. Cypress Park, Pocomoke, MD.

May 19 - 22
Cruisin' Ocean City
Four days car shows, entertainment, boardwalk parades, vendors, sponsor exhibits, celebrity guests and more. 3,000 Rods, Customs and Classics 1976 and eariler. Ocean City, MD.

May 21 - 22
Model Boat Expo
This 2nd annual expo by the North American Steamboat Modelers Association's (NASMA) will include radio-controlled models operating under their own steam power, as well as electrically-propelled models. The CBMM Model Sailing Club will sail a number of radio-controlled model skipjacks in races and for fun. Static displays of finished maritime models will be exhibited. A variety of models and kits will be available for sale. Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St Michaels, MD.

May 28 - 29
Chestertown Tea Party Festival
Downtown Chestertown closes to traffic and is transformed to celebrate the town's contributions to the American revolution. Streets are filled with crafts, music and food. Chestertown, MD.
