Chester River Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament
An annual golf tournament and evening reception. 25 morning foursomes and 32 afternoon foursomes compete for nearly 150 prizes in low gross and low net categories in three divisions: men, ladies and mixed (at least one lady). 8 am and 1:30 pm shotgun. Chester River Yacht and Country Club, MD.

Mako Mania Shark Fishing Tournament
This tournament is an open tournament to all sizes of boats fishing for Mako Sharks. A favorite of sport fishing men and ladies as it is open to all size boats and the rules are kept simple and easy for all sized boats to compete equally. Bahia Marina, Ocean City, MD.

MS 150 Bike Tour on Virginia's Eastern Shore
25th anniversary bicycle ride will wind through the back roads of Virginia's Eastern Shore from Cape Charles to Silver Beach and back. Cyclists have the opportunity to enjoy 151 acres of forest and beach along the Chesapeake Bay and spend the night at Camp Silver Beach. There will be a cookout and live music by the pool on Saturday afternoon followed by dinner and a campfire that evening. Accommodations include cabins as well as tent camping. Sunday morning breakfast will be provided. As you complete your tour back in Cape Charles on Sunday, relax after a long ride at the picnic provided at the new Kings Creek Marina. Supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Cape Charles, VA.

WT Ruark Fishing Tournament
33rd annual. Trophies and cash in 12 categories. Doors open at 2pm for food: crab cakes, oyster sandwiches, soft crabs, fried clams and french fries. Hoopers Island, MD.

Rock Hall Rock Fish Tournament

Queen Anne's County Windsurfing Race
4th annual. Windsurf in the challenging and scenic Chester River. Beginner, advanced and vintage class competitions, plus a special prize awarded to the knarliest board still on the water. All skill levels are welcome. Sponsored by Queen Anne's County Parks & Recreation. Noon. Clinic at 1 pm. Jackson Creek Landing in Grasonville, MD.

MS150 Tour de Shore
The 23nd bike tour will be the best yet. Cyclists will be offered a variety of routes on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Several route options will be offered to cyclists: Saturday will feature a 30 mile route, 50 mile route, 75 mile route and century (100 mile) route and Sunday will feature a 30 mile route, 50 mile route and 75 mile route. Two days and 150 miles of sweat and smiles! The Wells Fargo MS150 Bike Tour will challenge and reward you. Starts and finishes at Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD.

EagleMan Half IronMan Triathlon at Blackwater
This event is as mentally and physically demanding as any half Ironman distance race. The water conditions can be very choppy and and rough and the bike and run courses, while flat, can and often do get very windy and hot. There is little shade to be found. The shear challenge of these conditions cannot be underestimated. Cambridge, MD.

Swim for Life
Swim 1- to 5-mile courses on the beautiful Chester River. The swim benefits the Chester River Association, along with organizations in MD/DC assisting people with HIV/Aids and their families. Rolph's Wharf, outside of Chestertown, MD.

Bay to Bay Ride
21st annual bike ride through Maryland's Kent County. 50, 78, 86 or 104 mile ride. The flat loop routes take in the scenery of the upper Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware including farmlands, old country homes, quaint towns and country stores. An alternate 27-mile ride goes to historic Chestertown for those who want a less challenging ride. Spend the day touring the town. Temperatures of late June lend themselves to a pleasant swim in the Chesapeake Bay at the end of the ride. 7 am to 9 am start. Betterton beachfront, MD.

This golf tournament is open to all amateur golfers with an established USGA Handicap index and a desire to challenge their golf ability.
